Daqing Huakai Petrochemical Design & Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in 1996 with the registered address being Daqing, Heilongjiang, China. The company is among the first group of hi-tech enterprises registered in Daqing Development Zone, the sole enterprise engaged in petrochemical engineering design and technical service there and also the largest private-run design unit in the northeastern region of China, with independent corporate capacity. Since its establishment, our company has successively become a member unit of China Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association, a member unit of the Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Design Institute Association of China and a vice chairman unit of the Private-run Design Enterprise Branch of China Survey and Design Association.

Our company has Level B engineering design qualification for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries (the design certificate number is A223000759), and has passed ISO9001 quality management system certification, HSE management system certification, has Class I, II and III pressure vessel design qualification certificates and pressure vessel, long conveying pipe and oilfield ground engineering design qualification certificates.

By relying on several nationwide large-scale petrochemical bases, Daqing Huakai Petrochemical Design & Engineering Co., Ltd. has engaged a lot of technical backbones for petrochemical design to form a design team consisting of young, middle-aged and old personnel. Now the company has 180 employees with registered engineers and engineers in different trades being staffed in a complete manner. At present, 48 personnel are registered and there are 78 engineers and 39 senior engineers.. The company has a full range of trades and design software and supporting facilities. The entity of the company has developed from being initially in Daqing into being located in several domestic large petrochemical zones, such as Dalian, Fushun, etc. At present, the head office of the company is in Dalian, Liaoning Province. The business scope of the company includes: petrochemical devices and building engineering design, oilfield ground construction, oil product storage and transportation, long conveying pipeline design, petrochemical pipe type heating oven, industrial furnace design for metallurgical system, Class I, II, III pressure vessel design, energy conservation improvement engineering design and general project contracting.

The heating oven trade of this company is a characteristic trade with good strength. Since establishment, the company has applied 31 items of technical patents in the field of energy conservation. By incorporating a pioneering design philosophy in the core part of the industrial heating oven, the company has realized a technical breakthrough for the equipment of this class for the past 100 plus years. Utilizing the patent technology of this company, the energy consumption by petrochemical devices can be reduced substantially and the thermal efficiency of equipment is increased. As a result, not only investment becomes less, but good economic benefits can also be achieved and good comments have been received from the users. Also because of this, the technical and design level of the heating oven trade of this company is absolutely in the leading role domestically.

The achievements of Daqing Huakai Petrochemical Design & Engineering Co., Ltd. are distributed in most parts of China now, covering such provinces and cities as Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shanghai, Shandong, Hebei, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Xinjiang Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, etc. The typical projects designed independently by the company include: vacuum distillation unit, gas fractionation device, MTBE device, crude oil stabilizing device, light hydrocarbon disproportionation unit, delayed coking device, PP device, air separation and compression device, crude oil and product oil storage tank zone, sewage treatment device, oilfield ground construction and long conveying pipe works, etc.

Presently, a joint venture company, Hwaracon (Dalian) Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., has been formed between Huakai and RAMESHNI AND ASSOCIATES TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING LLC (RATE), a leading US technology and engineering company in the sector of environment protection. This will further enhance the competitiveness of Huakai and Hwaracon in our domains of business in China.
